About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Gastroenterology NP in Illinois!

We are seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Dec 1, 2025. The schedule offers 8am-6pm shifts with a preferred 7 on 7 off model, and flexibility to split shifts between two providers if needed. This opportunity involves inpatient pre-op and post-op care, making it ideal for advanced practice professionals skilled in consults, rounding, and assisting with bedside procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct inpatient rounding and consults for gastroenterology cases

Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for gastroenterology patients

Assist physicians with bedside procedures as needed

Additional Information

Board certification in Gastroenterology required

Must hold current certification from NCCPA, ACNP, or equivalent

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Active Illinois license required
