Job Purpose
The Technical Service Manager will align divisional and organizational requirements. They will be dedicated to product development, product support, QC, and engineering initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
The Technical Service Manager is responsible for :
Experience
10+ years' experience or related.
Education
Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent.
Licences & Certificates
PE certificate or equivalent.
Competencies
Experience with the MSHA approval process and US mining laws. Electrical / Hydraulic or Mechanical engineering experience required. Experience working with or around heavy equipment. Experience managing / developing people. Experience working across borders and navigating language barriers. Fluency in German a plus. Experience working with mechanical cutting equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms. Strong organizational skills a must. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to make effective decisions within LOA. Must be responsive to customer and division issues needing immediate attention. Experience with data analysis. Experience with automation systems, controls, and CAN communication systems. CAD experience a plus.
