Job Summary :
As a pre-licensure graduate of an accredited nursing program, you will actively participate in the SSM Health New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide care for patients within your role and professional standards, delivering age-appropriate care for various medical conditions.
Primary Responsibilities :
Work under the direction of an RN Preceptor to perform delegated nursing care tasks based on your demonstrated competence.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments considering physical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-related factors.
Develop and implement effective patient and family education plans utilizing appropriate resources.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with established policies and procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals concerning all aspects of patient care.
Participate in training to enhance your skills in patient care.
Complete competency requirements satisfactorily.
Show commitment to the professional nursing standards defined in the practice model.
Maintain a safe and alert working environment.
Education :
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Experience :
No prior experience required.
License and Certifications Required :
State of Work Location : Oklahoma
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), or certification within 90 days from hire.
