Description

Benda Infotech is excited to announce an opening for a Junior Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Chicago. This full-time on-site position presents a fantastic opportunity for entry-level candidates to kick-start their careers in the Computer Software / Engineering industry working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

As a Junior Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions that meet our clients needs. You will gain hands-on experience in various projects and contribute to building robust applications while also receiving mentorship to enhance your skills and professional growth.

We offer a competitive salary range of $67000 - $71000 annually along with a supportive work culture and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design development and testing of software applications
Collaborate with senior engineers to implement software solutions
Write clean efficient and maintainable code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions
Debug and troubleshoot software issues as they arise
Maintain documentation of software designs and processes
Learn and apply new programming languages and technologies
Contribute to team goals and project timelines

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field

0-1 year of experience in software development or relevant internships

Familiarity with programming languages such as Java Python or C

Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
