Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

Provides professional and technical skills to ensure safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of patients in the provision of patient care. Over seen by the assigned RN and / or Clinical Coordinator. Reports to the Manager of MedSurg and Administrative Director.

Required Qualifications :

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit.

Knowledge of growth and development over the life span.

Must be able to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing.

CA Certified Nurse assistant.,

BLS / CPR certification.

Non-violent crisis intervention / verbal de-escalation course within 3 months of hire.

Formal nurse assistant course and / or one year nurse assistant experience preferred.

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
