Treatment Coordinator / Translator

Job Title: Treatment Coordinator/Translator (English, Cantonese, and Mandarin)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Treatment Coordinator/Translator to join our team at Bridgeport. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and will be responsible for facilitating communication between staff and patients, as well as managing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate between English, Cantonese, and Mandarin for staff and patients
• Greet patients upon arrival at the dentist's office
• Schedule and confirm appointments via phone or email
• Maintain patient accounts and records
• Submit patient claims to insurance companies
• Assist patients with filling out required intake and medical forms
• Inform patients of payment options and perform basic accounting tasks, including taking payments and balancing at the end of the day
• Update patient insurance information
• Sort and organize incoming and outgoing emails and mail
• Ensure the reception area is maintained and professional in appearance
• Fill schedules

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: Off
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (twice a month)

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to perform basic accounting tasks
• Experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required
