Overview

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at Loyola Medicine is currently recruiting a BC / BE, fellowship‑trained orthopaedic hip and knee arthroplasty surgeon to join our group. With a well‑established and growing orthopaedic practice and an upcoming faculty retirement, we expect a quick clinical ramp‑up. The department seeks individuals interested in our goals of excellence in patient care and a clinically integrated team approach in our established regional program.

Loyola Medicine

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. The three‑hospital system includes Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC), Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital, as well as convenient locations offering primary care, specialty care and immediate care services from nearly 2,000 physicians throughout Cook, Will and DuPage counties.  LUMC is a 547‑licensed‑bed hospital in Maywood that includes the William G. and Mary A. Ryan Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, the John L. Keeley, MD, Emergency Department, a Level 1 trauma center and more. Loyola also trains the next generation of caregivers through its academic affiliation with Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine and Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform total joint arthroplasty procedures for hip and knee cases in a high‑volume clinical setting.
• Participate in a clinically integrated team approach within the regional orthopaedic program.
• Contribute to the department’s goals of excellence in patient care and outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing clinical education and faculty responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

BE / BC orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in hip and knee arthroplasty.
