Job Description :
- A full-time position is approximately 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts / month = 2190 hours annually
- Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of approximately 5.5 24-hourshifts / month = 1560 hours annually (still benefit eligible)
- Location is outside the city
- 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24 / 7 - never on shift alone
- Responsibilities include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation / management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage
- MFM performs rounds and inpatient consults with high risk patients
- Practice attends about 60 deliveries per month
- 30-bed community Level-III NICU / newborns 23 weeks and above
- Affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practice support
- 387-bed tertiary acute care facility and is the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley, serving more than 8,000 square miles of Southeastern California
- Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents and medical students.
- This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Compensation and Benefits :
Compensation is $150 / hour ($328,500 annually for full-time employment).
