Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a structured educational setting. This contract position is designed for the current school year, offering a focused and meaningful teaching experience.

  • Alabaster, Alabama

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of students with disabilities
  • Deliver specialized instruction that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate inclusive learning environments
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance and pliance with state regulations
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance teaching practices

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students
  • Strong understanding of disability laws and educational regulations
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt instructional methods to diverse learning needs
