The Senior Director, Sales - Regional provides strategic leadership and vision across multiple geographic territories, ensuring alignment with national and global commercial priorities. This role drives sustainable revenue growth, market penetration, and competitive positioning in oncology. Beyond tactical execution, the Senior Director shapes long-term regional strategy, mentors future leaders, and serves as a key voice in national planning. The position requires exceptional business acumen, cross-functional influence, and the ability to anticipate and respond to evolving market dynamics.

Education / Experience / Knowledge & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 15 years of relevant experience; or
Master's degree in a related discipline and 13 years of relevant experiences, or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience :
Experience in brand strategy, market access, and payer engagement strongly preferred.
Proven track record of influencing executive-level decision-making and contributing to national strategy.

Travel required 60% of domestic travel required.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this position is $268,500 - $343,000 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate's geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, among other factors. In addition to the base salary, as part of our Total Rewards program, Exelixis offers comprehensive employee benefits package, including a 401k plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts. Employees are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus program, or if field sales staff, a sales-based incentive plan.
