Location : Remote, based out of Illinois with a focus on the Chicago market. Youll work from home while collaborating closely with a multi-state team and traveling occasionally for hearings, depositions, mediations, and key firm events.
Note : You must be licensed to practice law in Illinois, have strong civil litigation experience (including discovery, motion practice, and depositions), and be comfortable working remotely full-time with occasional travel.

Job Description
Serve as a Senior Associate Attorney on wage-and-hour, employment, and consumer class and representative actions in Illinois and federal courtsLead and manage all phases of complex civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparationDraft, edit, and argue substantive motions, including dispositive and class-related motions, in state and federal courtsTake and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts, and prepare clients and witnesses for testimonyDevelop and execute case strategy in collaboration with firm leadership and junior team membersAppear remotely and in person for court hearings, conferences, and other proceedings as neededMentor junior attorneys and staff, helping to develop best practices and strengthen the Illinois practiceTravel occasionally for hearings, depositions, mediations, and internal meetingsQualifications
Licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standingSeveral years of civil litigation experience, ideally 5+ years, including substantial discovery, motion practice, and taking / defending depositionsPrior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and / or wage-and-hour or employment matters strongly preferredExcellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills with a strategic, detail-oriented approachProven ability to independently manage complex cases and a busy litigation docket in a remote environmentProfessional, steady work history and strong client-facing skillsPositive, team-oriented attitude and an interest in helping grow a high-performing, plaintiff-side practice in IllinoisWhy Youll Love Working Here
