Day shift, 3x12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30); every other weekend coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Respiratory Therapist specializing in RRT. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in various adult and pediatric critical care settings, with a focus on delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient responses.
  • Manage mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy protocols.
  • Perform arterial punctures and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
  • Provide care for critically ill patients and assist in emergency procedures.
  • Monitor and manage medication delivery systems, including aerosol setups.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to optimize patient care.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a respiratory therapy role.
  • Active RRT or CRT certification required; ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications preferred.
  • Experience with neonates and pediatrics is essential.
