Internal candidates - check with your recruiter to see what options are available for you) This is a full-time, day-shift position working Mon-Fri from 7 : 30am-4pm with weekend and holiday call. 45-minute response time for call. Job Summary Leads and coordinates activities and tasks in support of surgical and central sterile services. Job Responsibilities And Requirements Primary Responsibilities : Coordinates shift operations including scheduling, assigned activities, and resources. Serves as a technical or functional resource for staff and performs similar duties. Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and procedures. Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. Oversees utilization and maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment. Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Education : High School diploma / GED or 10 years of work experience Experience : Two years' experience Physical Requirements : Constant standing and walking. Frequent lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent reaching and gripping. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot / leg and hand / arm movements. Occasional lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Occasional use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Occasional use of smell to detect / recognize odors. Rare crawling, sitting and keyboard use / data entry.
