Position Snapshot

Role : School Nurse ( LVN / LPN)

Location : Chula Vista Elementary School District + other sites across San Diego County

Schedule : Monday–Friday, during school hours. Holidays off!

Opportunities : Full-time and per diem

Compensation : $30-$38 / hour (DOE)

What You’ll Do

Provide direct care and support to students throughout the school day

Assist in Health Office operations or 1 : 1 student care assignments

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Respond to medical needs and emergencies with calm expertise

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Maintain accurate, confidential health records

Champion health education and wellness initiatives on campus

What You’ll Bring

Active California LVN license (unencumbered)

Valid CPR certification

Experience in pediatric, school, or community nursing (preferred)

Strong communication and documentation skills
