Description of responsibilities - essential candidate qualities, preferences, and skills:
• Weekly and Semi-Monthly Payroll processing in ADP Workforce with Time and Attendance
• Update employee data, employee records, tax withholdings, benefits and wage garnishment deductions
• New employee set up including time clock access
• Assist in managing timesheets in time and attendance when needed
• Certified payroll tracking and reporting
• Monthly union reporting of dues, vacation, and health and welfare
• Maintain payroll records and employee payroll file
Essential Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in accounting, human resource or related field
• Minimum 3 yrs of payroll experience for 100+ employees with ADP Workforce required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong computer skills are essential, particularly in payroll software
• 40 WPM Typing and 10 key required
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations is vital for compliance
Preferred Experience:
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Bilingual a plus
