Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician I (SP Tech I) is responsible for decontaminating, processing, and sterilizing instruments, supplies, and equipment by following established standards / guidelines. The SP Tech I demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

Education :

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of Central Service Technology Course / Or Equivalent Work Experience (at least one year experience in central sterile processing)

Work Experience : One (1) Year Work Experience in Central Sterile Processing. Can substitute for Central Service Technology course. (Preferred)

Communication Skills : Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Writing / Reports (Legible handwriting and coherent writing)
