[job_card.job_description]Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage devices, network equipment, and end-user hardware Manage data center operations, including power, cooling, and physical security Ensure proper asset tracking, inventory management, and vendor relationship management for hardware procurement Coordinate hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance schedules Implement and maintain physical and logical security controls to protect hardware infrastructure Ensure compliance with relevant data security, privacy, and industry regulations Partner with cybersecurity teams to safeguard hardware systems against threats Provide escalation support for complex hardware-related issues. Oversee deployment and maintenance of desktop / laptop systems, printers, and mobile devices Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting and repairs Ensure business continuity through backup hardware strategies and disaster recovery readiness Develop and manage the hardware budget, including capital expenditures and maintenance contracts Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions Evaluate and recommend new hardware technologies to improve efficiency and reliability
