We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Newport, Kentucky. In this role, you will provide essential support for monthly conferences, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for attendees. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with the registration process for monthly conferences, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to conference attendees, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to conference activities.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure all logistical aspects of the conferences are handled effectively.
- Prepare and distribute materials for conference participants as needed.
- Monitor and respond to emails and other communications related to conference planning.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and report generation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the attendee experience.
- Support the team in addressing any last-minute challenges during conferences.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and procedures throughout all tasks.
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Experience coordinating events or conferences is a plus.
