The company is a group of global record labels and music publishers headquartered in the US. The role will oversee the day to day accounting operations for the company and will report directly into the CFO. The successful candidate will also be managing a team of 7 candidates, whilst mainly focusing on the monthly close and financial reporting for the company.

Job Description

The successful Controller will :

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to maintain compliance and address audit findings.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team to foster professional growth and development.
• Evaluate financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
