job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssist in periodic credit limit reviews and updates in coordination with Accounting Supervisor. Ensure compliance with sales tax exemption requirements and update certificates as necessary. Support the processing of affiliate debit notes and manage statement procedures. Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Other duties as assigned. An associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required (bachelor's degree preferred) Proven experience in credit and collections, with a strong understanding of credit policies and financial risk assessment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel SAP experience (preferred) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
What you will do
- Conduct thorough credit reviews and assessments to determine creditworthiness of new and existing customers
- Manage orders placed on credit hold, ensuring compliance with credit policies and timely resolution
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new customers, including reviewing credit applications and establishing credit limits
- Facilitate collections activities to recover overdue accounts receivable
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve customer disputes and payment discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, credit decisions, and collection efforts.
- Provide updates on accounts receivable status and collections performance to management
