Exciting Opportunity for Emergency Medicine Physician in Virginia

Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician seeking a fulfilling permanent position? We have a fantastic opportunity in Virginia, located near Mendota, VA. This opportunity is within the Emergency Medicine unit, a well-established institution dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to the community.

  • Est. Hours : 12-hour shifts, 8a-8p or 8p-8a
  • Weekend Requirements : Yes
  • On-Call Requirements : No

    • MANDATED Job Requirements :

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible (REQUIRED, highly prefer BC)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in EM (REQUIRED)
  • Looking for a minimum of 14 shifts / month (7on / 7 off)
  • VA License (REQUIRED)
  • COVID Vaccination (REQUIRED)
  • BLS / ACLS - Current at time of submission
  • If not EM board certified - will need ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
  • Clean background, no malpractice (REQUIRED, no exceptions)
  • Must submit full presentation with rates and availability at the time of name clear (REQUIRED)

The 134-bed hospital is staffed with skilled physicians of various specialties and employs over 200 support staff. Services include Acute Care, Emergency Care, Cardiac Care, Intensive Care, Outpatient Services, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, General Surgical Services, and Urological Care.
