Avionics Technician - Repair Station
IMMEDIATE HIRING! Full-Time Avionics Technician Opportunity
- Starting Salary: $76,752-$111,946 annually (including 20% geo-modifier)
- Sign-On Bonus: $12,500
- Monday - Friday Schedule
The Avionics Technician will be a vital part of our dynamic team, playing an essential role in the maintenance and alterations of our aircraft. You will work in accordance with 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station regulations and ensure that all operations meet technical data and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Current FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate (or verified work history to obtain written approval for Airframe testing from the FAA within 6 months of hire).
- Current FAA Repairman certificate (or verified work history to obtain certification within 6 months of hire).
- Five (5) years of experience in field maintenance for avionics systems in modern complex Fixed Wing and/or Rotorcraft under an air carrier certificate (14 CFR Part 135).
- Documented experience in avionics systems installations on modern complex aircraft.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for electrical and avionics systems.
- Willingness to learn the company’s General Maintenance Manual, SOP Manual, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24 hours during the scheduled duty period.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in critical decision-making situations.
- Commitment to integrity, safety, and compliance in aircraft maintenance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-sufficient in performing all technical and administrative functions without direct supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate.
- FAA Repairman certificate or experience as one within the past 5 years.
- Five (5) years of Fixed Wing and/or Rotorcraft avionics field maintenance experience with EMS operators.
- Five (5) years of experience in maintaining aircraft avionics systems with a 14 CFR 145 Certified Repair Station.
- Five (5) years of expertise in maintaining systems on Beechcraft, Cessna, Pilatus, and Airbus Helicopters.
