Driver, Shuttler Van

Description

As the successful candidate, you will -

Be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting Modern Aviation customers to / from their destinations or aircraft

You are excited about this opportunity because you will -

• Drive customers to / from destination and / or aircraft
• Assist with loading and unloading passenger baggage into the shuttle van
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers
• Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle van, including sweeping and removing trash
• Keep water stocked on shuttles for passengers
• Keep a detailed daily log of pick-ups and drop-offs, including names, times, and destinations
• Stay informed about local events to provide helpful information to passengers
• Assist Air Concierges as needed
• Assume additional responsibilities, to support Modern Aviation's evolving business objectives

Reports to : Line Service Manager

Supervisory Responsibility : This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

FLSA Status : This position is nonexempt.

Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to wet and / or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; chemicals including aviation fuels, oils, and lavatory fluid. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Travel : This position requires no travel.

Physical Requirements : Must be able to perform frequent walking, sitting, stooping, stretching, bending, reaching, and grasping actions. May be required to work nights and weekends. Regularly lift and / or move up to 75 pounds.
