Job Title
This position provides supervision of the installation, maintenance and repair of the water distribution, sewer collection and force mains systems.
Work is performed under general direction of the Utilities Maintenance Manager.
Essential Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED), supplemented by courses in pumps or hydraulics or in utility system maintenance, repair and surveillance. Two (2) years supervisory experience required. Five (5) years' experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of sewage lift station facilities.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, techniques and procedures associated with the position. Knowledge of the equipment, tools and materials utilized in the position. Ability to plan, organize, control and evaluate the work of skilled and semi-skilled employees. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form. Ability to prepare technical reports. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, and customers. Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment. Ability to manage and prioritize routine, specialized and complex assignments and problems utilizing knowledge acquired through prior education, training, and experience. Ability to adapt to an evolving and continually improving environment. Requires demonstrated ability to utilize personal computer and office software such as MS Word, MS Excel and electronic mail.
