About the Role :
Under the guidance of the NEBB Certified Professional, the test, adjust, and balance (TAB) technician plays a key role in delivering top-tier service to our customers by measuring and documenting the airflow, pressure, temperature and other relevant parameters of the HVAC System. The TAB technician is responsible for fine tuning of system components, such as dampers, valves, and fans, to align with the desired operation criteria and correct any imbalances or inefficiencies identified during testing.
You’ll work with industry-leading equipment, including VRF systems, rooftop units, packaged systems, and more.

Physical Demands / Work Environment :
This role is primarily field-based and physically active. TAB Technicians can expect to spend the majority of their time on their feet, walking, standing, climbing ladders, bending, crouching, or working in tight spaces. Extended periods of physical activity are common while performing TAB work.
While a small portion of time (approximately 25%) may be spent in an office setting completing reports or administrative tasks at a computer, most responsibilities require hands-on work with tools and equipment.
Clear and effective communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors is essential, both in person and electronically. Individuals must also be capable of reviewing their work for accuracy and making necessary adjustments in the field.
This position involves frequent exposure to outdoor conditions and varying environments, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction sites. Noise levels may range from low to high depending on the job location.
