As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Control in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do : Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity. Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors and personnel with security-related matters. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks. Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols. Follow emergency response protocols when appropriate, including communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
