Responsibilities
(First 90 Days):
- Learn the framework and existing reports to develop new reports
- Customize and adapt reports to meet each department’s specific needs
- Analyze current processes and recommend data-driven improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, define, and document KPIs for logistics and supply chain processes
- Connect technical teams and business users to deliver effective solutions
- Deliver actionable insights using Power BI, developing and enhancing reports and dashboards
- Leverage Databricks and Microsoft Fabric within Azure to integrate, transform, and model data
- Write optimized queries and manage data models in Microsoft SQL Server to support reporting
Requirements – MUST Have:
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
- Proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX for calculated fields, forecasting, and predictive analysis
- Hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (e.g., OneLake, Data Warehouse, Data Engineering features)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory)
- Advanced skills in SQL Server including query writing and performance optimization
- Experience working with business users to understand reporting needs and provide training
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business analytics, reporting, or related role
Preferred Experience:
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries
- Familiarity with Python or R
- Exposure to AI-driven tools such as predictive analytics, OCR, NLP, or machine learning
