Staff Accountant

Accounting Position

Job Scope

Generally responsible for maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts. Helps with various projects as needed in the accounting department. Work will be performed under general supervision.

Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

• Reconciling bank accounts for multiple companies
• Maintaining the company's fixed asset records
• Month-end closing journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Scanning and filing paper and electronic documents
• Review and approval of expense reports

Ideal Background

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required.

Certification : No certification is required for this position.

Experience : This position requires up to 2 years of experience in the accounting field.
