Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager handles and controls warehouse inventory by coordinating the movement of products from production to warehouse to staging for pickup by the Operations Team. This position is essential to the company as you will be responsible for making sure customer orders are accurately fulfilled and on time, that products are received correctly and accurately stored.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including inventory control, materials management, and demand planning.
• Accepts incoming product shipments and adjusts the storage areas when receiving and getting product ready for pickup
• Supervise a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
• Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to optimize productivity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage fleet operations, including maintenance scheduling and driver supervision.
• Discards trash daily to keep office areas and shops area clear of trash and keep warehouse clean and organized.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain optimal inventory levels and resolve any supply chain issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in the logistics industry.
• Some Solar experience highly desired
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse best practices.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Forklift driving knowledge and certification.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, vendors, and customers.
• Previous experience working with Inventory analysis.
• Must have strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to count accurately and be detailed oriented.
• Must be a team player.
• Must work well unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• Strong good computer skills.
• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Must be able to research and solve problems.
• Must be able to work alone and as part of leading a team.
• Must be able to lift weight up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to lift and reach above your head, bend and twist.
• Must be able to stand for more than three hours at a time without a break.
• One year of relevant experience required.
• High school diploma or the equivalent required.
