Maintenance Mechanic

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment performing preventative maintenance ordering parts completing work orders and coordinating maintenance and repair of Balcos facility. This role has a schedule of four 10-hour days per week (Mon-Thurs) with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and document activities in the maintenance log. Capable of repairing machinery as needed.
• Inspect and verify equipment is operating at manufacturing standards and required safety guards are operational.
• Offer solutions for equipment and / or unsafe condition.
• Capable of coordinating with other department leads when large projects are planned. Includes the understanding of each departments planned contribution to the project and the scheduling of each departments contribution; without interruptions to the planned everyday production schedule.
• Participate in all necessary training functions for you position.
• Maintain general building maintenance.
• Regular and routine attendance is required

Production : This position works in a production facility and is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and utilize the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) i.e. : eye / face protection hearing protection steel toes etc.

In-office : This role is located at our office in Wichita Kansas. Employees must be present at the office and available to perform the essential functions of their jobs whenever they are scheduled to work.
