A-Line Staffing is now hiring Floating LVN / LPNs in Minneapolis, MN 55418. The Floating LVN / LPN would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 32-40 hours per week, including every other weekend, and may require floating to other nearby locations.

Floating LVN / LPNs Compensation

The pay for this position is $37.17 per hour.

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Floating LVN / LPNs Highlights

This position is a full-time contingent assignment with potential to convert to permanent based on attendance, performance, and business needs

Work schedules are created in 6-week blocks following 3 weeks of training / orientation

Shifts range 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours

Typical workweek : 2–3 weekdays plus every other weekend

Some major holiday coverage required

Floating LVN / LPNs Responsibilities

Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB tests

Obtain vital signs and provide patient care under supervision of the provider

Provide emergency care in collaboration with the on-site provider

Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout

Assist with wait room management, appointment scheduling, patient reminder calls, and chaperoning sensitive exams

Prepare the clinic and waiting space to enhance the patient experience

Support patient-focused care and clinic mission through excellent service and connections

Floating LVN / LPNs Requirements

Full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or D.C.

Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program

Minimum of 1-year related healthcare experience

Experience administering immunizations and providing evidence-based vaccine counseling / education

Experience documenting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), preferably EPIC

Ability to take vital signs and provide basic patient care

BLS certification (CPR and AED)

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Availability to work some holidays and flexible floating shifts as needed

Floating LVN / LPNs Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
