Maintenance Worker, FT Days

Under general supervision, perform general, corrective, and preventative maintenance of both equipment and buildings throughout designated PIH Health facilities and all equipment connected with them. PIH Health is a nonprofit, regional healthcare network that serves approximately 3 million residents in the Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Gabriel Valley region. Required Skills :

• Able to work alone, organize jobs, teach various skills to others.
• Sufficient expertise in specialty areas, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, to meet staffing needs of the hospital and minimize the need to utilize outside contractors.
• Knowledge of material and work procedures used in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and the application of painting.
• Basic knowledge of computers and smart phones.
• Dependable, good judgment, and able to work alone.
• Sufficient work expertise to organize jobs, prioritize workload and teach various skills to others.
• Able to drive Box Truck, Forklift, Pallet Jack.
