Administrative Director – Emergency Services Location :

• Houston, TX Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent Schedule : Days Compensation : $116,251 – $174,366 / year (based on experience) Annual Bonus : Up to 17.5% (performance-based) Sign-On Bonus : Case by case Relocation Assistance : Case by case Overview We are seeking an accomplished Administrative Director of Emergency Services to lead one of the region’s busiest emergency departments, spanning a main 52-bed ED and two free-standing EDs.

• Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple emergency department sites.
• Oversee ~150 FTEs including directors, managers, and clinical staff.
• Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centered emergency care.
• Drive quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness.
• Manage budgets, labor resources, and cost-efficiency strategies.
• Foster a culture of accountability, staff engagement, and professional development.
• Lead patient experience initiatives and promote service excellence across departments.
• Partner with hospital executives and physician leaders to expand and enhance emergency service lines.

Qualifications Required Minimum 3+ years of recent acute care ED leadership (Director or Manager level) Bachelor’s degree required (BSN strongly preferred) Active RN license in Texas or Compact state Preferred Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field Prior leadership in Level II Trauma centers or large, multi-site ED operations National certification (CEN, CCRN, or equivalent) Compensation & Benefits Salary :
