Senior Data Scientist

Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in classical Machine Learning and proven production experience in one or more of the following domains: NLP (Natural Language Processing), CV (Computer Vision), Time Series, MLE/MLOps (Machine Learning Engineering/Operationalization) and Recommendation Systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EPAM's clients and internal teams to implement AI/ML-driven solutions
• Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business value to our clients
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

Requirements

• 5+ years of production experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
• Expertise in Deep Learning (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Proficiency in Python ecosystem and data science libraries (pandas, sklearn, NumPy)
• Expert knowledge of at least one domain from the list: Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning Engineering, Computer Vision, Time Series, Recommendation Systems
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• B2+ English, both verbal and written

Nice to have

• Familiarity with at least one Cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
