Duties And Responsibilities

As a Senior Front-End Web Developer, you will personally make an impact by:

• Developing new user-facing features
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Helping to drive, document and continually refine platform standards
• Helping drive new tech research and experimentation
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders

Qualifications

Ideal Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years working as a front-end web developer
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with Javascript
• Experience designing and creating responsive websites
• Knowledge and experience with W3 Standards and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with source control such as Git or Mercurial
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Experience in guiding and mentoring junior developers
• Experience with jQuery, Angular, Knockout and JavaScript development
• Experience with Less, Sass, or other CSS preprocessors
• Experience with Bootstrap or other front-end frameworks
• Experience designing for .NET (i.e. DNN CMS)
• Experience designing for PHP (i.e. Wordpress CMS)
• WordPress and Drupal experience a plus
• Comfortable working on PC platform
• Detail oriented and focus on quality assurance of work
• Online portfolio or personal website with samples of relevant work a plus
