Registered Nurses will work in a 36-bed unit, which is set to expand to 51 beds. The patient-to-nurse ratio will typically range from 3 : 1 to 4 : 1. Candidates should be skilled in administering chemotherapy and managing ports and lines. Experience in patient management during acute tumor lysis syndrome, graft-versus-host disease, and other oncology-related complications is essential. Nursing responsibilities include monitoring chemotherapy treatments, managing side effects, and providing supportive care to patients. This role may require floating between units with similar patient populations to meet facility needs.
