Overview

CTG’s long-standing Fortune 500 client is seeking a Construction Inspector to support Outside Plant (OSP) fiber optic projects, including FTTH, MDU, and FTTB builds. This role requires daily travel to job sites within the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre area and active onsite presence.

Job Title : Construction Inspector, Project Services

Location : Scranton, PA

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Scranton, PA

Pay Rate : Based on experience

Work Hours : M–F, 8am–5pm

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and report daily vendor activities for fiber optic construction projects

Review drawings and specifications to ensure project compliance

Inspect construction quality and enforce customer / industry standards

Use Sitetracker to report production and track material inventory

Direct contractor activities and respond to Project Manager needs

Maintain safety compliance on all job sites

Requirements :

Valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record

Ability to travel daily and work onsite in varying weather conditions

Physical ability to walk up to 5 miles / day and perform site tasks

Ability to read FTTX prints and use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Strong communication, collaboration, and independent work skills

Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed
