Job Summary :
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with a focus on litigation to join their team in Coral Gables. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology, and will be adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and closings.
- Conduct legal research and gather pertinent information.
- Draft and proofread correspondence, legal documents, and pleadings.
- Organize and maintain files, documents, and exhibits.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and depositions.
- File documents with the court and ensure proper service of process.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials as needed.
