Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician (Healthcare Technology Management)

We are searching for a Biomedical Equipment Tech, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform preventative maintenance and repair work on medical equipment under moderate supervision in accordance with provided procedures and schedules.

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

• Perform electrical safety inspections on equipment and accessories as assigned
• Use the appropriate test equipment, complete tasks within the time frame specified in the PM schedule, as observed by Biomedical Engineering Manager and as documented in equipment service reports
• Perform physical condition inspections as assigned
• Troubleshoot and repairs stand-alone devices, and small system components as needed
• Respond to and troubleshoot service calls in compliance with Departmental Policy
• Document all service works in compliance with Departmental Policy
• Assist in project support function
• Document and record daily work in appropriate systems
• Effectively utilizes departmental resources
• Coordinate equipment inventory process
• Attend various meetings providing relevant information as necessary

Skills & Requirements :

o Bachelor's Degree Electronics Or Biomedical Engineering

o Completion Of A Formal Military Educational Program In Electronics (Including But Not Limited To : Biomedical Engineering And / Or Weapons Systems) Preferred
