[job_card.job_description]Assignment Length : 13 weeks (January 12, 2026 – April 12, 2026)\n Weekly Hours : 40\n Shift : 8-hour days (6 : 30am – 5 : 00pm); 30% of shifts may be 1 : 00pm – 11 : 30pm based on department needs\n Call Requirement : 6 weekday and 6 weekend calls per 6-week schedule\n Location : Bridgeport, CT 06606\n Employment Type : Travel Nurse, On-Site\n Active and clear Registered Nurse (RN) license\n BLS certification required\n Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience\n Clinical experience in General Surgery, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho), Urology, ENT, Neuro (cervical fusion, lumbar laminectomy), Plastics (abdominoplasty, breast augmentation), GYN, and Orthopedics (total knee / hip replacements, anterior / posterior approach)\n Previous travel nursing experience preferred\n Experience with EPIC, Surgicount, and TECSYS preferred\n Provide safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative nursing care for surgical patients\n Circulate and scrub for a wide range of surgical procedures\n Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records (EPIC)\n Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend coverage\n Follow infection control and safety protocols\n Mentor and support less experienced nursing staff\n
