Pay Rate : $24–30 / hr

Shift / Hours : 40 hours / week, 10-hour days (7 : 00 AM–5 : 30 PM)

Job Summary :

The Medical Assistant provides essential clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth clinic operations. This role performs both hands-on clinical tasks and front-desk responsibilities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient service.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist providers with patient exams and procedures.

Take vital signs and document patient information.

Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness.

Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs , point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.

Administer medications as directed (where permitted).

Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.

Update and maintain medical records.

Provide patient education and support.

Handle check-in, check-out, and phone calls at the front desk.

Required Skills :

Ability to perform basic clinical procedures.

Strong patient communication and support skills.

Accuracy in documentation and medical record management.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.

Scheduling and front-desk administrative skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Additional Skills :

Maintaining cleanliness of exam rooms.

Administering medications where permitted.

Managing patient flow.
