Materials Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Assess customer needs to create accurate forecasts and ensure timely inventory management.

• Monitor stock levels and maintain adequate safety stock to prevent disruptions.

• Issue purchase orders to vendors and oversee timely delivery.

• Continuously track purchase orders, inventory levels, and customer demands to align operations.

• Coordinate the entire supply chain process, from incoming orders to outgoing shipments, ensuring smooth transitions.

• Utilize ERP systems effectively to manage and streamline inventory and supply chain activities.

• Apply intermediate Excel skills to analyze data and support operational decisions.

• Evaluate situations critically to make prompt and effective decisions.

• Communicate proactively, ask questions, and employ deductive reasoning to resolve challenges.

• Ensure all processes align with organizational quality and efficiency standards.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems for efficient logistics and distribution.
• Solid understanding of inventory control and safety stock management.
• Competency in handling purchase orders and vendor coordination.
• Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong decision-making abilities with a focus on problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration.
• Familiarity with supply chain logistics and distribution processes.
