Job Summary :

Supports production through the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and machines throughout the plant. Responsible for complete preventative maintenance on all machinery as scheduled. Is knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in the area(s) of specialty.

Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, piping, boiler, steam, cooling tower and pneumatic equipment and systems.
• Bearing installation, shaft installation and alignment, coupler installation and alignment.
• Gearbox and fluid pump rebuild and installation.
• Basic maintenance welding of various metals (Mig, Stick, Tig)
• Thread and run black pipe, stainless steel pipe, and copper pipe.
• Industrial motor installation, alignment, and balancing.
• Industrial machine rigging and installation requirements.
• Maintain lubrication requirements of industrial equipment.
• Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical theories and principles based on the mechanical items listed above, along with properties of various materials, and principles of operations and application of mechanical equipment.
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with Rea safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
• Advises operators of operations procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical / electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
• Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
• Assists maintenance and operations personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Assists other maintenance and other technical-level employees.
• All other work-related duties as assigned.

Pay : starting at $32.00 / hour; new Pay for Qualifications up to $44 / hour with company paid training

Schedule :

7PM-7AM, 12 HOUR SHIFTS FOLLOWING THE 2-2-3 PATTERN, NIGHTS ONLY

Benefits :

Physical Demand and Work Environment :

100 degrees. The environment is well lit; The noise level in the environment is loud due to exposure and use of fork trucks, but employee may be exposed to higher than 85 decibels on occasion, hearing protection is required. Employee may be occasionally required to enter confined spaces.
