LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Critical Care MD in Ohio!

About The Position

We are seeking a Critical Care Medicine Physician for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio starting Feb 13, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts and coverage for 1-2 weekends each month, including a mix of rounds and call. Candidates should have experience with ICU and intensivist cases and be comfortable with pressure control ventilation strategies.

  • Schedule : 1-2 weekends per month, Friday 5pm call; Saturday 5am-5pm rounds, 5pm-5am call; Sunday 5am-5pm rounds, 5pm-5am call

  • EMR : Epic

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide critical care and intensivist services in the ICU
  • Manage patients using pressure control ventilation as preferred
  • Conduct patient rounds, manage admissions, and respond to emergent situations
  • Participate in weekend call coverage as outlined in the schedule
  • Document all patient care activities in Epic EMR

  • Experience in ICU and critical care medicine preferred
