Description

Principal Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper production control planning and scheduling to meet forecasts and production schedule.
  • Responsible for overseeing product in process, ensuring an accurate priority through the factory from start to finished goods and / or shipping.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate WIP value through our processes by identifying, resolving, and preventing inaccuracies.
  • Communicate with product management on important customer needs :

Develop in depth time lines and execute plans of recovery.

  • Understanding critical customer needs and reacting quickly.
  • Support customer service by providing delivery dates and expected recovery dates on customer orders.
  • Responsible for signaling the release of product to manufacturing.
  • Communicate to management regarding work centers and areas of concern both internally and externally.
  • Ensures the latest drawing revisions are used in the manufacturing process.
  • Reconciling planned work orders in MRP system.
  • Perform system transactions as needed.

    • Qualifications

    1 year of experience in purchasing and / or inventory control in a manufacturing environment or any combination of experience, education and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Computer skills Excel, Access a plus, General computer knowledge
  • Organization and follow up
  • General understanding of MRP and manufacturing processes
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Flexibility to alter tasks
  • Ability to self-prioritize in a consistently changing production environment
  • Bilingual ability a plus, not required
