Calling all Experienced Tax Preparers ! Join our team for an exciting opportunity that offers flexible schedules . Leverage your tax expertise, business background, and knowledge of tax laws to propel you to the next level. You will provide exceptional client service while connecting with clients in a fun, fast-paced environment. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference for the hardest working!

As a Seasonal Tax Preparer , you will :

  • Assist clients via one-on-one tax interviews and answer questions from walk-ins
  • Complete tax preparation training, and demonstrate a willingness to learn
  • Utilize basic computer skills
  • Be supported by exceptional leadership and knowledgeable tax preparers, ensuring you're never alone
  • Experience the best of both worlds : the camaraderie of a team, combined with the autonomy of working independently
  • Successful completion of the Jackson Hewitt Tax School Aptitude Test or Fundamentals of Tax Preparation.

    • What you need :

  • 2+ seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and / or partnership tax returns.
  • Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping or taxes.

    • Enrollment in or completion of the Jackson Hewitt Fundamentals of Tax School Course or Tax School Aptitude Test is neither an offer nor a guarantee of employment.
