South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven
Restaurant Servers to join our exceptional food and beverage team. Surrounded by vineyards and known for award-winning wines, luxury accommodations, and elevated dining experiences, we pride ourselves on delivering memorable moments to every guest.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to guests
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menus, wine offerings, and daily specials
- Offer recommendations and upsell menu items and wine pairings when appropriate
- Accurately take and enter orders, ensuring attention to detail and guest preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and alcohol service laws
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and a service-first mindset
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort environment preferred
- Wine knowledge or interest in learning about wine and pairings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and glassware (up to 25 lbs.)
