We are currently seeking a warm, engaging, and bilingual Early Childhood Spanish Specialist and Support Assistant to join our Toddler and Primary teams. This individual will play a dual role : providing Spanish language exposure through songs, movement, and storytelling, while also supporting classroom needs and transitions throughout the day. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, close-knit group of Spanish-speaking and English-speaking educators who collaborate joyfully and support one another's growth. This role includes mentorship and abundant opportunities to learn from experienced Montessori teachers in a spirited, collegial environment.

This position works a 10-month school calendar year (mid-August through mid-June) with paid breaks during the school year. During the summer months, optional four-week summer camp employment opportunities are available.

This is a full-time (37.5-hour / week) position; Monday - Friday (7 : 30 am - 3 : 30 pm. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver rich and playful Spanish language experiences by naming objects, leading songs, and engaging in joyful Spanish dialogue with children
• Lead small-group activities in Spanish : singing, reading, storytelling, and movement games that delight young learners
• Collaborate in classroom activities and child supervision, both indoors and outdoors
• Provide coverage and support for Guides and Assistants during the day, including at transition points
• Assist with toilet learning and daily hygiene routines
• Help guides and assistants keep classrooms and outdoor environments beautifully maintained
• Prepare and care for Montessori materials (sewing, laminating, printing)
