DLZ Corporation currently has Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Systems opportunity Jacksonville, FL or Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities & Duties :

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, control, and IT / data systems for buildings.
• Lead and mentor other electrical engineering staff.
• Load calculations, life cycle costing and energy modeling.
• Review installation of designed equipment / systems for compliance with construction documents.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, both in a broad and detailed scope
• Assist in developing feasibility studies
• Assist in the development of contract specifications and research the application of new procedures and / or products.
• Meet, communicate, and coordinate with clients to develop scopes, prepare proposals, and oversee the installation of the work, and manage internal and external project budgets.
• Perform duties on concurrent projects of various project types, scales, and complexity within the established schedules.
