Full Job Description

Home Instead-Pueblo, Pueblo West, Canon City, Florence, Penrose, Rye, Westcliffe, Fowler, Avondale, Boone, Colorado City is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers / Care Professionals to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

The passion to care is already in some people; they just have to give it a purpose. At Home Instead, caring is our passion. And it starts with our Care Professionals!

Duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Dementia / Alzheimer’s Care
  • Medication management
  • Wound / Nail care
  • Professional experience NOT required; paid training provided.

    • Requirements to be a Care Professional :

  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance

    Shifts Available :

  • Daytime Shifts from 4 hours to 12 hours from 8 : 00 am – 10 : 00 pm
  • Overnight Shifts Available from 8 hours to 12 hours from 10 : 00 pm - 8 : 00 am
  • Live-In Services Available shift operates one day on, two days off ongoing
  • 8 am-noon, 10-5pm, and 6-10 pm.
